We are looking for a full time studio assistant.
Art by Barton is a small, Baltimore silkscreen studio located near Canton.

Job Description:

Looking for someone who is a hard worker, learns quickly, and is detail-oriented. Experience with metal working machines preferred but not required. We spend a large percentage of our day on our feet and you must be able work in an active environment. Most tasks would be related to making our signature metal frames, including:

Cutting and drilling metal
Applying wax to frames
Grinding metal
Staining wood
Packaging and mailing orders
General shop clean up
Washing out silk screens
Monday-Friday schedule

Requirements:

Three employment references.
Pass a background check.
Have your own transportation.
Ability to periodically lift over 50 pounds
Pass a color blindness test.

Hourly pay at beginning at $15 depending on skill level.
